I draw to learn the way life perpetuates itself, moves, and holds itself in space.

Mug Shots

I illustrated my dear friend Sophie's thesis two May's ago. We referred to the creature identifications as Mug Shots throughout the process- I like the idea of a cnidarian minding its own business and getting caught on candid camera. I guess that's what all scientific imaging really is- our visual intrusion intothe life of the great mystery unfolding itself all day.
